Hotel Del Mar Barcelona

The hotel was perfectly situated, just a short walk from the marina and the bustling shopping streets. It was so convenient to have everything we needed within walking distance. Plus, there were plenty of amazing seafood restaurants nearby for a romantic dinner by the water. The room itself was clean and pleasant, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for our romantic escape. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast offered by the hotel, a great way to start our days of exploring.

Great location near the old city and Barcelonette. Very clean room and hotel. Professional staff. Convenient for visiting Sitges and southern coast with Franca railway station nearby. Large balcony with marina view. Close to buses and walkable distance to historic center. Underground car park nearby. Convenient for exploring Gothic area and Barceloneta. Many cafes and restaurants around. Room with terrace has fantastic harbor view. Well-equipped bathroom. Very warm in March. Very central location. Clean and nice.

Medium breakfast, monotonous, always the same. proportional to the price. Super location close to the center and beach. Food vending machines inside make it not worthwhile to buy water in shops.

Size of the room, especially the breakfast: hot croissants, cookies, donuts, yoghurts, fruit juice (salted version also available); back from Japan, it's a great feeling! :D

A badly thought-out shower: no door or shower curtain, resulting in a wet floor all the way to the toilet. With the towel shelf at head level (what is it doing there????). A poorly insulated window overlooking an inner courtyard with ventilation machinery, noisy.

Perfect location near beach and old town. Rooms with harbor view. Safe and comfortable. Good size room and ensuite with powerful shower. Daily towel change. Polite and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast buffet. Close to restaurants and attractions. Accessible with friendly staff.

Breakfast OK, service OK, great location. The room is clean and quiet. Hotel really worth recommending.

There was no single double bed in the double room, previous request for it was not answered twice. Combining two single beds makes no sense. It was a little too cold at night - the ventilation, despite being switched off, was blowing up the cool air.

The hotel is in a prime location, central to all the sightseeing spots. It is conveniently close to the Metro, making it easy to explore the city. there is a Macdonalds in the centre for quick and familiar dining options.

Some interior rooms may be warm and lack proper air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable for guests during their stay.

We were really surprised to find a hotel with this price/quality ratio in the centre of Barcelona. Very clean room and bathroom, ideal location with metro nearby, very friendly staff. Large terrace. Fast Wi-Fi connection. We were able to leave our suitcase the last day at the reception and walk around all day.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This hotel is in a good area, located in a quiet area but close to everything. It is near the marina, where you have a lot of restaurants to choose from. The rooms with a terrace offer a lovely private balcony with views of the harbor. Plus, breakfast is included, making it a great value for the money.

All was just fine, no complaints whatsoever.

I liked the location, close to the subway, close to entertaining neighborhoods to go out and best near Del Mar! I liked the welcome of the restaurant staff, girls always with a smile and willing to serve in the best way! We loved the room with the terrace.

It bothered me a little bit to hear people talking in the halls in the morning, you could hear a lot. I don't know if they were guests or cleaning staff, but it was very loud.

In the triple room the beds are a bit narrow. The towels also need to be replaced. The buffet is generally good, but a bit tight on food. It would be nice to provide parking service from 0:00 as well. We were forced to leave the van in the distant parking lot.

I had a knee injury at Hotel Del Mar and the receptionist at night made me wait for over an hour before helping me. It was frustrating and unprofessional. the location of the hotel was perfect for me as it was close to Las Ramblas and the cruise port. The amenities around the hotel were also a pleasant surprise, with a short walk to the Marina and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, with a nice view of the street. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and the restaurant was clean and bright. Despite the setback with the receptionist, the other staff members were helpful and friendly.

room is very big, although a double bed is two beds next to each other and wasn't even connected to the start. Breakfast is ok, no revelation. hotel has a fast wifi and a good location in relation to the district and subway.

The room was hardly cleaned, the bathroom was not washed even once during a few days' stay. The room was generally cold, fortunately there were blankets. Air conditioning in the "heating" mode blew cold air.

Room 404 has an incredible terrace with a sublime view of the harbour. The staff has been fantastic, especially one person from reception who helped us with parking etc, very very good.

Nothing, he was just what you expected.

Location is an obvious plus. Visually from the outside, the hotel looks very nice. The cleaning ladies do what they can and are relatively clean. At breakfast, the staff also reacts very quickly. Nice staff.

Breakfast is very monotonous every day. Small choice at breakfast / no scrambled eggs, disgusting juices. I asked the hotel for a room right upstairs - I got one downstairs. Other guests, despite the fact that they booked for me, received rooms right upstairs (:(). Why does the hotel make a copy of the proof? And the EU regulations on FAMILY ? The hotel is relatively old and requires refreshment.

The terrace is tremendous. The bathroom was very clean. The bed is very comfortable.

The English of the late-night receptionist was lousy. I am bilingual, I heard him serving a couple of clients in English and there were a lot of misunderstandings because he didn't understand what they were saying. I couldn't control (turn off) the heating, I slept with the terrace door open because the room got too hot. It would have been nice to have a bath in addition to or instead of a shower.
